As per clause 8 of Environment Audit Rules, 2025. Mechanism for registration of Certified Environment Auditors is as follows—
The registration of Certified Environment Auditor shall be valid for a period of five years, unless revoked earlier in accordance with the provisions of rule 11 of this notification, and shall be renewable subject to the fulfilment of criteria as specified in the guidelines issued by the Central Government from time to time.
