The NPC-Certification Body (CB) is accredited by the Asian Productivity Organization Accreditation Body (APO-AB) and is recognized by 20 other APO member countries such as Bangladesh, Cambodia, Republic of China, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Japan, Republic of Korea, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam.
The Productivity Specialist Certification Program is a program to certify a highly skilled individual whose work concentrates primarily on applications of productivity solutions and productivity-related activities such as Consultancy, Training, and Promotion & Research
Upon certification, NPC-CB Certified Specialist may make use of NPC-CB certification marks for 3 years to demonstrate their competence, professionalism:
NPC-CB is committed to impartiality in its certification activities and provides an opportunity for effective involvement by interested parties in safeguarding impartiality through the Certification Council. NPC- CB shall uphold responsibility for the impartiality of its certification activities and not outsource certification decisions. All NPC-CB personnel, partners and committees shall act objectively, and shall not allow commercial, financial, or other pressures To compromise impartiality. All examiners shall not take part in an examination/assessment activity if they have been involved in the training of a candidate within a period of two years. The NPC-CB’s activities shall not be marketed or offered as a linked product with other activities like consultancy, training, promotion or research activities of the NPC. NPC-CB shall assess its risk of impartiality through regular Risk Assessments and take appropriate actions (if required) to respond to any threats to its impartiality that may arise from the actions of its personnel, committees, panels, and NPC-CB. All NPC-CB personnel, partners, and committees shall undertake to keep confidential all information obtained or created during the execution of the certification activities, except as required by law or authorized by the applicant, candidate, or certified person.
CPS Preparatory Course: Applicants need to pay a fee of *INR 11,800/- (INR 10,000/- plus 18% GST) either through online payment link at NPC website or submit Banker’s Cheque or Demand Draft payable to "National Productivity Council, New Delhi.
CPS Written Examination: The examination fee of *INR 29,500/- (INR 25,000/- plus 18 % GST) may be paid either through online payment link at NPC website or submit Banker’s Cheque or Demand Draft payable to "National Productivity Council, New Delhi.

Applicants can exercise their rights to appeal against the decision of NPC- CB by submitting Appeal Notice Form that sets forth the grounds for appeal and state the reasons that the applicant believes that the decision of the certification activities should be reviewed. Upon receiving the appeal, the NPC- CB will acknowledge the receipt within 7 days from the day of receiving the notice. At the same time, an independent Appeal Panel will be formed to investigate the nature of the appeal. Based on the recommendations of the Appeal Panel, a decision shall be made by the NPC-CB and the outcome of the decision shall be informed within 60 days. The decision of the NPC-CB will be final and no further appeals for the same case shall be entertained.
Any complaint concerning a Certified Person shall be made in writing specifying the actions or activities that led to the alleged violations, followed by the date of the violation and how it was violated, signed by the complainant (with official name and unique identity number), and sent to the Certification Office of NPC-CB. The Complainant is required to submit any documents such as the statutory declaration, evidence, etc. which support his/her complaint. Upon receiving the complaint, the NPC-CB will acknowledge the receipt within 7 days from the day of receiving the complaint. At the same time, an independent Disciplinary Panel will be formed to investigate the nature of the complaint. Based on the recommendations of the Disciplinary Panel, a decision shall be made by the NPC-CB and the outcome of the decision shall be made within 90 days. The decision of the NPC-CB will be final and no further appeals for the same case shall be entertained.
